UK – Elizabeth Line transforms ICE journey

Central London will be a 12-minute journey for ICE attendees following the opening of the ‘game-changing’ £18.7bn high-speed train line, which reduces Heathrow/ExCeL journey time to 43-minutes.
The travel experience for both domestic and international visitors attending February’s editions of ICE London and iGB Affiliate London will be transformed following the opening of the capital’s new £18.7bn high-speed train line. The Elizabeth line, which officially opened May 24 has reduced journey times from central London to ExCeL to just 12-minutes.

Letališče London Stanstead bo trajalo 54 minut vožnje z vlakom, London Luton pa 34 minut. Proga Elizabeth bo imela 24 vlakov na uro, kar bo omogočilo prevoz več kot pol milijona potnikov na dan.

Since reopening in summer 2021 ExCeL has welcomed over 1.5 million visitors and has invested in a 25,000sq.m expansion programme to further enhance its facilities.
