Australia – Aristocrat accelerates online RMG strategy with Roxor Gaming acquisition

Aristocrat has acquired iGaming content supplier Roxor Gaming in a bid to grow and scale its online real money gaming business.
A subsidiary of the privately held London-based Anzo Group, Roxor Gaming is currently live in New Jersey and is primed for expansion in the UK and North America.
Founded in 2019 by former Gamesys Chairman and co-founder, Noel Hayden, Roxor was previously the in-house studio and product team of the Group. Since 2019, the business has invested heavily into its content portfolio, RGS platform technology and retention-focused gaming ecosystem.

As part of the transaction, Aristocrat will also acquire Roxor’s two in-house game development studios, bringing further online RMG-specific technical and product development talent to the Group.
Roxor has over 100 employees primarily based in the United Kingdom, along with a deep affiliate network with extensive online RMG experience.

The acquisition is expected to complete in the first quarter of calendar year 2023, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Aristocrat will fund the transaction from existing cash, and the transaction is not expected to have a material earnings impact.
